Joanne is a Partner in the Carne Reidy Herd Aged Care and Retirement
Living group and has extensive experience in advising Not for Profit
organisations on a range of issues including mergers and acquisitions,
organisation structure and compliance.
Joanne has held senior positions in both the private and public sectors
and her advice is regularly sought by clients from private, church and
community sectors.
In her aged care practice, Joanne provides advice to approved providers
on all aspects of aged care including compliance and operational issues
as well as commercial and strategic positioning. She has extensive
experience in assisting providers deal with complaints and the
complaints investigation scheme.
Joanne has been advising retirement village operators on all aspects of
village development and operation for many years, giving her an in-depth
knowledge of the unique issues impacting the retirement living sector.
Joanne is particularly experienced in advising Boards of Not for Profit organisations and her expertise includes:

- Organisational restructuring
- Converting from one legal structure to another
